To Soar on Eagle’s Wings
Suspended in deep remedies I find myself fixated on things I cannot change,
And charmed by good tales to come.
And much like the seasons, change blooms trees,
But first you must have the courage to plant the seed.
One of rebirth and growth,
One of smiles and toasts.
For life is too short to be fixated on things you cannot change,
Anger you desperately hold,
And people you cannot keep.
And much like the rain there is sunshine,
And in growth, oft pain.
But in both there is a lesson -
Never to dim your light,
Never to cast doubt on the person you are,
And your soul that shines ever so bright.
For in you there is value,
That which the World has never seen,
So settle for nothing less
And let them laugh at your dreams.
For it takes courage to smile,
But anyone could frown
So smile as you succeed,
Knowing you made your loved one’s proud.
